new layout

Hey, guys! Sorry I haven't gone on here in a while... had stuff to do. Well, I have an idea for a new layout. Let me know what you think!!

Flumps (Listing one particular thing I'm annoyed about or angered by)
Fitties (Listing one particular thing I love or am excited about)
Kitty Report (Updating the things going on, showing new art or good pictures, etc...)
Pop-pop (Asking a spiritual or media-involving question)

Flumps- Well, last night my family watched a movie that had my crush in it!! I dreamed about it last night, and it hasn't left my mind for the whole day!!!! I'm sure you girls can relate to me, you know, crushes and all... However, guys just don't have the same feelings about crushes like girls do. You know??

Fitties- I did my art project a few hours ago. It was a picture of a little massage thing, but it's shaped like a cat. It's shiny and colored magenta. It's probably my best picture I've drawn ever! See the Kitty Report to see the original art.

Kitty Report- Not really anything special is going on around here, other than I have three major crushes, I'm crazy about the graphic novel series Inu-Yasha by Rumiko Takahashi, and my little sister, who is still recovering from her surgery which was almost a month ago, is going through the stress of with drawl syndrome from pain killer. Oh, here's that art I told you about in the Fitties!!

Pop-pops- What is your favorite movie, book, piece of art, YouTube video, etc.???

Thanks, guys! Please let me know what you think!! BTW, if any of you have trouble commenting on my new posts, just become a member. All you have to do is click on the orange letters that say "Sign in," and then I think there's this whole weird process or something, but that's the only way you can comment. Oh well. C ya!!! Feel free to comment!!!

just got home

Hi! Not too long ago, I was riding in the car, coming home from my family's day-long Rochester, MI trip. My little sister is mentally and physically disabled, so she can't do much on her own. She had a scoliosis surgery around the start of the month, and she had the stitches taken out of her back today. She is really sore, but she's a lot better than I expected. I am so exhausted from the four hour trip, and I'm ready to crash. It's only 9:30, but nevertheless, I want to go to bed. Who wouldn't after a long day of riding in a car? (Unless, of course, they had a few c-store cappuccinos or a large Monster energy drink...) Well, I'm pooped and am tired of typing, so see you tomorrow! I'm going skating with my older brother tomorrow!!!
P.S.- conversation starter; what direction do you think our country is going?

a usual wednesday

Well, I'm almost done with my school for the day. There's not much on Wednesdays because the second half of the day is taken up by my paper route with my two older siblings, along with other stuff that we do while we're in town. This is a pretty normal Wednesday, other than that I remembered my dream from last night. Speaking of dreams...  For almost a year, I've been writing down every dream that I remember. I don't know why, but I think it's just fun. Now don't get the idea that I want to find a psychic who can interpret these weird dreams or anything, but it's interesting to put curiously clear images from my mind into words and/or drawings. If it's something that I can draw, I'll do it. But it's harder than you think to make dreams into words. Sometimes I type them down on a file that I call "Fantastic Dreams". I've not had much time to do that, what with the computer always being used for other purposes or used by other family members. I don't really mind that file getting dusty, but as long as I have my notebooks, I can write down my dreams. My dreams are extremely odd, and sometimes, the setting is the same or the people inside it are the same. For example, last summer, I dreamed of a large city off an ocean coast. The buildings were all made of the finest red bricks and elegant marble blocks. One marble building in particular was a mansion that me and my sister lived in. Now, a few nights ago, I dreamed of the same city, except that I was alone and broke on the streets. No one knew me, and no one cared about me, yet I pushed on through life. It lasted so long, and I woke up when my family found me. Any comments on my dreams? Feel free. See you later!

just finished it

Hi! It's almost 10:00 at night right now, but I'm still wide awake. Around 5:00, I got really sleepy. I had a long day. Tomorrow, I'm going to do my paper route with my two older siblings. Only ten minutes ago, me and my family finished watching the HBO TV miniseries Band of Brothers, which my family and I have always loved. It's the true story of Easy Company serving in World War 2 in Europe. When I first saw it, I was stunned. I thought, What have I got to complain about? Well, they had everything to complain about. Sometimes I bicker about the smallest things, but they would normally ignore them. On D-Day, they had the fear of their plane being shot down. In Bastogne, France, they had the extreme cold and the artillery that the Germans were firing. One of Easy Company's most famous veterans, Major Richard Winters, died over a year ago. What have we got to complain about? We are very lucky to be Americans. We have a roof over our heads, and for heaven's sake, we're alive! Have you ever thought about how lucky we are?

just joined

Hi, and welcome to my blog! My name is Chia-Pet, and I am thirteen years old. (Actually, Chia-Pet is a nickname my dad gave me.) I love drawing and the occasional writing, and I especially love cats! I got the idea for a blog earlier this morning, and I thought it would be fun, so here I am! I wanted to connect with people, so I decided that a blog would be the best bet. I don't have a Facebook yet, I'm home schooled, and I can't do much with e-mailing, but a blog can do a lot! This is the first time I've had a blog, and I've hardly had so much connection with the outside world. I don't get out of my home state very much. I am a very social person (so says my dad), so I like having long and exciting conversations with kids my age. Sometimes I even get caught talking with adults! Well, I'm running out of things to write and I'm getting hungry, so see you later!
P.S.- Feel free to comment!
