back 2 normal... sort of

Hey, readers! How has it been going for ya?

Last week I was at camp, so I took some pics. Not very many, but I got them. No videos, unfortunately. At the camp I go to, they don't allow magazines or iPods or phones. I totally understand that, but I was afraid that I couldn't bring my camera. But by miraculous coincidences, they allowed cameras!!! Anyways, here's the pics! I got a few of Jasper's new kittens. They're so bouncy and energetic!

Aren't they darlings? The dark one is Tootsie (Mom wants to call her Figaro from Pinocchio) and the lighter one is Angelface. They're just little angels from heaven!

They're just sooooooo cute! Speaking of cats, we're thinking of making these two kittens our new indoor cats. My dad thinks that Jasper deserves to be a housecat, but my mom thinks it will be too much of a project. Think turning a two-year old outdoor cat into a two-year old indoor cat is a good idea? Please give me your opinion in your comments. My family is really considering the idea.
This was the first morning at camp on Monday, around 7:45 a.m. We're up at 7, and breakfast is at 8. I slept better than I thought I would on the first night. I only woke up twice! The second night I didn't wake up at all, except for when I was supposed to.
This is the sunset (or what's left of it) that covered the sky on Thursday night. My dad took this photo because me and the other campers were having a special activity in the dining hall. About half an hour before, the sunset completely covered the sky and the tops of the trees. I am not kidding; the lake was ON FIRE. God had painted the sky in pink, blue, purple and several shades of orange. Here's what we were doing for the special activity:
Yes. We had a cabin parents' fashion show!!! I missed one person, and it was the scarecrow (to match Dorothy), but I guess you wouldn't have noticed anyway. The costume was pretty good, though!
This is my new friend I got at camp. I love drawing anime and manga, and whaddaya know, he does too! So we hung out a lot during the week. Some people thought that we were boyfriend and girlfriend, but we both denied it. Apparently, the usual idea of a date is a boy and a girl hanging out somewhere and talking. A) I'm not interested in dating. B) Even if I was, I wouldn't even be ready.

So, now that I'm back from camp, everything is back to normal... sort of. My sister recently got a job as a babysitter, and I am now crazy about Adventure Time on Cartoon Network! It's my latest obsession, and I'm not sure how long it's going to last. I started writing a random Adv. Time fanfiction yesterday, so I might show it to you in my next post! I haven't chaptered it or named it yet, but I might later. See ya later!

getting connected

Hello readers! As the title of my post says, I've been signing up for a few things on the network here, so I'm really getting connected! I joined Fanfiction.net on the 7th, and I joined DeviantART on the 10th. Fanfiction.net is, of course, a website for fanfictions. I'm currently writing a Lord of the Rings parody called "The Lord of the Whiskers." I posted the third chapter earlier this morning, and I've already gotten 10 reviews!!! Some people even added my story to their favorites list, and subscribed to my stories. Okay, I don't man to brag, but I'm just so excited about this website!! DeviantART is a website for art. I love drawing, so that is basically the website for me. I haven't posted any art yet, but I will within the next few days. Check out both websites to see my art and writing!!

Link to my fanfiction:  www.fanfiction.net/s/8190817/1/The_Lord_of_the_Whiskers

Since I haven't posted any art yet on DeviantART, I'll post the links on here when I do! I promise!

Interesting question my dad asked me yesterday:  "The way partisan politics is being conducted in this country is making this country ungovernable." -Andy Stanley  Agree or disagree?

went 2 Indy (total-E awesome)

Hey, readers! I've been busy for the past few days, so it's been hard to get on my blog here. Anyways, here's some pictures and a video! For the video, you might want to right click on it, and go to "open with", and click on "Windows Media Player". If you don't have Media Player, don't panic. Just click on something else in the "open with" category. Unbelievably, my camera actually captured sound!! I didn't think it would, because when I play videos from my camera, I don't hear anything. But on Media Player, it works! Weird. Well, here's the pics and vid!

Here's a cute car that I saw in a car show I went to with my cousin. There were a bunch of other cute cars, but I didn't get pictures of all of them. I figured this was the best!
The Hunger Games was playing at this old-fashioned theater. The night after I took this, my sister and a few others went to see it. I was on my way to Grandpa's with dad that day. As you can see, this theater plays old movies too. I wish I could have seen Monty Python in a theater!! That movie is so LOL! Comment if you've seen it!
This is the inside of my dad's favorite pizza restaurant. He was so jealous!
Here's the outside. Comment if you love Aurelio's!!
Comment if you loved The Hunger Games!
Interesting decoration. I had to get a pic of this.
Dude! This cost me $3.85!! But it was soooo worth it.
This is a very messed up bed the day before race day. The cushion is almost completely off the couch!
These are windmills with the sunrise in the background on race day. Dad and I were up at 3:20!
Indianapolis Motor Speedway! Oh yeah!! Click to see a larger image.
This is Dad and I. It was getting kind of sunny, so Dad let me use the Nike cap. I put on sunscreen, but I got sunburn on my neck. Didn't put enough on, I guess.
The racecars were going so fast I could hardly get a picture of them! See the green car on the left side?
Windmills on the way home. Same field of windmills in the other pic!
Day after race day, heading home. Comment if you love Chi-town!
Sideways pic. Might want to turn your head. I was in that tower once!
                                         Leaving Chi-town.
The next three pics are random ones I took of cumulonimbus clouds on the ride home. I got bored after I used up the battery of my MP3 player, so I took about 20 pics of clouds.
Comment if you think this would make a great desktop!
Think this one would look good on your computer screen? Comment if you think so!
Here's the video. Turn up the sound to hear the glorious sound of the racecars!

Anyways, please comment on my "comment if you love blank"s. Thanks so much for reading! I'll just blog and blog and blog and blog!

now blogging from illinois

Guten abend, Freundinnen! (Good evening, friends!)

Right now I am blogging from Illinois! I am on my dad's laptop, so it wanted to convert every single picture on my camera onto his laptop. I only have so much time to blog, so I saved the trouble and decided to not have pictures on this post. Sorry about that, but I promise that I'll post like a million pictures as soon as I get home!

Anyways, tomorrow I'm getting up at three in the morning, just like the other years. After driving for about an hour, dad and I will go to a very special restaurant in a very special town. It's an Indy trip tradition to stop at this particular restaurant. I'll show you pictures and name names once I get home!

After driving for a few hours, we'll arrive at Indianapolis. We'll probably wait a few more hours to get out of tight traffic. Eventually, we'll park in the same spot as last year, and walk about a mile to the racetrack. Then we'll hear the national anthem, "Back Home Again in Indiana", and then the ever-famous line, "Ladies and Gentlemen, start your engines!" And they'll be off! I'll take some video of the cars going by, but I'm not quite sure if I'll be able to post a video. I'll try, though.

At three in the afternoon, the race will be over. I really hope somebody wins that hasn't won before. I have my eye on Marco Andretti and Tony Kanaan. I'd love to see one of them win.  Once we know who won, dad and I will rush out of the racetrack to try and get ahead of the veeeeeeeeeeeery tight traffic that will eventually clog up the roads. We'll get back in the early evening. I hope Adventure Time will be playing on Cartoon Network by the time we get back!!! (Oh, in case you didn't know, which you probably do, I am now hooked on Cartoon Network and the Disney Channel, since I watched like two hours of Regular Show and Adventure Time last night while we were at my cousins.)

Okay, gotta shower now. As soon as I'm done, I'm  going to bed. I'll need that extra sleep! Wish my dad and me luck and safety on the road tomorrow! I'd really appreciate that!

I pinky-promise that as soon as I get home, I'll post my pictures. Sorry about this post!

going 2 Indy 500!!!! (and theme idea)

Hello readers! Missed me?

Well, I got some musing and some pictures to show you guys. This week I will not have the Flumps, mostly because there's waaaay too many good stuff happening that I forgot what I was disappointed about!

Fitties - I got a lot of Fitties. A week ago, I got a new haircut. I got something else a few days ago, but you'll just have to keep reading if you want to find out. Tomorrow, my dad, my older sister, and I are going to Illinois for the weekend. In Indianapolis, Indiana, there will be the BIGGEST RACE IN AMERICA, which I'm GOING TO GO TO THIS SUNDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My sister isn't going to the race; she's going to stay at my cousins' house in a town near Chicago. I once blogged about going to Cracker Barrel on the way home from the Wisconsin Christian Teen Convention, and I'm going to another Cracker Barrel on the way to Indianapolis early on Sunday morning! I'll bring you some pictures if I can.

Anyways, here's the Kitty Report!

This is me with a dress. Yeah, I looked good, but the chest was reeeally tight!

                                             Jasper (left) and Jinxie (right)
Dad killing wasps about a week ago.
                                            After my haircut.
After I got my makeup! Surprise, surprise!
Jesse, looking like someone from the Mafia.
Jesse with his awards after the awards banquet yesterday.
New theme idea!! These are crayons, melted into different shaped molds. My favorite is the heart, as you can see. Click on the image to get a better look!
Here's the other side. Same order as the last pic.
These are some older ones from about two years ago. I never used them!
                                            Other side.
Another shape my mom got from online.
                                          This is the other side.

Pop-pops- The crayon molds might end up being my theme. Think it's a good idea? Got any other ideas?

Thanks for your opinion! I'll keep on blogging!

i went 2 WCTC!!! (and it's mom's b-day)

Hello, readers! I know it's been a few weeks since my last post, but here I am, so, well... yeah.

Today I will not have the Flumps or Fitties. This time I will show my WCTC (Wisconsin Christian Teen Convention) experiences in the Kitty Report. The Pop-pops will go as usual.

Kitty Report
WCTC was really fun! The music and sermons were pretty cool. The theme this year was Identity. You know, who we are, who we are in our Creator's eyes, and who He wants us to be. Most of it was fun, but swimming was the best part. I went on several water slides with two girls I know and two boys that they know. We all went on body slides before going on another ride. I've never been on a body slide before, much less a WATER body slide, so I screamed like Hell!
Anyways, here's my favorite pictures I took.

Here's Jesse, posing for a picture, taken by one of his friends.
                                         Jesse posing... again!
At lunch, these four (or five, I can't remember or tell) boys stacked up these plastic cups to see how high they could get. It got pretty high!!
                                                               Even higher!...
... and then they fell. I had to get a picture of the mess.
This is me (I'm the cute chestnut-caramel-brunette-haired girl with the freckles and natural blush) with the lead member of The Least of These. This band played the music at WCTC.
The day we went home, we stopped at Cracker Barrel for supper. It's a tradition we do when we go to WCTC. I couldn't finish mine, but I thought you might like to see what I got. Fried hash puppies, fried shrimp, biscuits, applesauce, mac n' cheese, dumplings, and an orange cream soda. It was all awesome!
Meanwhile, Jesse completely finished his supper, as seen here.
Here's Jesse again, drinking a root beer. I think he looks a little like a gangster in this picture.
This is the surprise cake we made for my mom's birthday, which is today! The cluster of chocolates in the center is supposed to be in the shape of a heart (Dad's idea). The MnM's sprinkling the cake was my older sister's idea. The frosting was supposed to be red, but we didn't have enough food coloring. Thus, it's pink. Oh well, she likes it anyway.

Pop-pops
Do you like my pictures?
Any opinion on my photography?
What do you think Jesse looks like in the root beer picture? Get creative in your opinion!

Thank you readers! Please comment on my pictures and pop-out questions! Feel free to be honest about your opinion! I'd love to know. See you in my next post!!!!
